If you like to play games on the computer, you’ll love the InboxDollars “Paid Games” portal. According to their website, members can earn cash and win gift cards and prizes simply by playing online games.
Pro Tip: They don’t point out that, in some cases, you might have to install some potentially invasive third-party apps or other software to play these games. Be careful with anything you download to make sure it’s legit!
3. INBOXDOLLARS VIDEOS
The next way you can earn money with InboxDollars is by watching Paid Videos. Members can view sponsored content and earn cash in their InboxDollars account. Not too shabby!
4. INBOXDOLLARS COUPONS
If you’re a coupon clipper, you’ll want to check out InboxDollars “Grocery Coupons” portal. In this section of your account, you can find coupons for your favorite brands. Simply download or print them, and you’ll earn money in your InboxDollars account.
5. PAID SHOPPING
Online shoppers can earn cashback through the InboxDollars Paid Shopping portal. According to the InboxDollars website, big brands like Walmart and the Gap give the company a commission when you shop through the associated links in your InboxDollars account.
In turn, InboxDollars shares a portion of that commission with you.
6. PAID EMAIL
The InboxDollars “PaidEmail” program enables members to earn money by simply opening and reading email content. To take advantage of this program, members need to opt-in to the service and receive PaidEmails from InboxDollars right to their email inboxes.
Opening and reading the message might earn you a small fee. Then, if it’s an advertisement that you’re keen on learning more about—for example, a streaming video service you can try for free for a month—you’re welcome to do so on that advertiser’s landing page.

InboxDollars is 100% free to join. New members will earn an instant $5 bonus simply by signing up for an account. To get paid, however, you need to have at least $30 in cash rewards in your account. As I will discuss later, this is one of the downsides to the program.
What’s more, many of the so-called “free surveys” only pay you around $0.25. They can also take about 10 minutes to complete—or even longer. Looking at the numbers, you could easily spend several hours completing surveys and only earn a few dollars in return.
Do the math, and you might be earning a cool $1.50/hour when the dust finally settles.

IS INBOX DOLLARS SAFE?
As you might expect with a website of this nature, there are some colorful reviews and customer complaints. I feel compelled to note that I’ve seen quite a few complaints about how it can be difficult to reach the $30 reward amount threshold—the level you need to hit in order to get your hands on any actual cash.
Customers also seem to complain about the fact that InboxDollars charges a $3 processing fee for outgoing payments. So, if you’re able to finally reach $30, InboxDollars slices 10% off the top.
Nonetheless, InboxDollars is a legitimate and safe website to use. They have an A rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and they are backed by a major market research and lead generation company called Prodege.
To be fair, the customer reviews on the BBB are less than ideal. So that is also something you might want to look into before signing up.
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT
InboxDollars appears to offer a self-service-only customer support portal located within your account. There doesn’t appear to be a live number you can call.
There is a live chat option, and you can submit tickets through Zendesk. There are additional contact methods as well.
Add it all up, and it doesn’t appear that InboxDollars has the most helpful customer support platform out there.
ALTERNATIVES TO INBOXDOLLARS
There are several similar websites to InboxDollars.
Most of these sites haven’t been around as long as InboxDollars has, though.
Ironically, the same company (Prodege) now owns a few of the InboxDollars alternatives, so you might wind up finding similarities
Next, I’m going to answer some of the most commonly asked questions that I hear about InboxDollars.
HOW MUCH MONEY CAN YOU MAKE WITH INBOXDOLLARS?
InboxDollars members earn money each time they fill out a survey or engage with an offer in their account. That said, how much you earn depends on how much time you spend in your account, filling out surveys and offers.
Surveys pay out anywhere from a few cents to a few dollars at a time. But they take time to complete, and some of them are tricky to qualify for. In other cases, you have to make a purchase or sign up for a “free trial” to get a bigger payout of a few dollars.
Keep in mind that if you forget to cancel a free trial, you might wind up getting billed more money by that advertiser than you get paid by InboxDollars. And if you find yourself in that predicament, what’s the point?
At the end of the day, you need to generate $30 in your account in order to receive any funds. Overall, it appears that you will be lucky if you ever earn more than $30 with InboxDollars. In my opinion, your earning potential is relatively low with this website.
IS INBOX DOLLARS LEGIT?
Yes, InboxDollars is legit and safe. The company has been around since 2000 and is owned by a much larger online company, Prodege. According to Crunchbase, Prodege has received over $60 million in funding.
HOW DO YOU GET A LOT OF MONEY ON INBOXDOLLARS?
I’ll be blunt: You won’t get a lot of money on InboxDollars. (Unless you consider $30 to be a lot of money, that is!) Any claims or promises to the contrary, in my opinion, should be ignored!
